Almond Butter Balls

These little body good balls are such a great snack with a long list of health benefits. Oats 
are an amazing food that help stabilise blood sugar, regulate the thyroid, reduce cholesterol, 
soothe the nervous system and improve digestion. Almonds are full of good fats and provide 
an excellent source of Vitamin E. Coconut will boost energy and also has anti-viral and anti-
bacterial properties. Cacao has exceptional benefits with a high magnesium, iron and 
calcium contents as well as providing plenty of anti-oxidants and flavanols. Then to top off 
these super balls there is also some maca powder to energise and revitalise the body.

Makes 12 balls

½ cup oats/ quinoa flakes for gluten free
½ cup almond meal
½ cup shredded coconut
2 tablespoons cacao nibs
2 tablespoons almond butter
1 tablespoon coconut oil
1 tablespoon maca powder
1 tablespoon honey
a pinch of vanilla powder

Place all ingredients in a bowl and mix until well combined. Add a touch of water if the mix is too dry. Roll into balls and store in the fridge for 1 week or freezer for 3 months.
