Beetroot & Silverbeet Tart With Spelt Crust
Although this dish sounds a bit fancy it was literally a throw together of the seasonal produce I received in my organic box combined with some pantry/fridge staples I always have on hand such as eggs, spelt flour, extra virgin olive oil and kefir.
Turmeric Scrambled Eggs
Due to my work as a recipe developer I am always trying new recipes and actually barely repeat ones I already have - but this meal is definitely one that is a regular in my diet.
Spinach & Ricotta Pots
This recipe is an oldie but every time I post a picture on my Instagram everyone is asking for the recipe - so here it is
Vanilla Spelt Pancakes with Quark & Figs
I'm not one to eat sweet things for breakfasts very often but while I was testing a heap of recipes for a cafe I was writing the menu for recently, I discovered THE BEST pancake recipe.
Cabbage & Tofu Fritters
Cabbage is such a great food, it's high in anti-oxidants and it's great for the liver but it tends to be a veggie not many people love!
Mushroom, Thyme & Ricotta Frittata
How good are frittatas? You can make so many different combinations using a similar base and it's easy to tick off each of the boxes for a complete and nourishing meal (protein, carbs, healthy fats and greens).
Grilled Cos with Peas and Eggs
I find cos lettuce a very boring food but because it is so easy to grow I often find myself with an abundance of it.
Pumpkin, Caramelised Onion & Fetta Frittata
I know, I know, a frittata sounds so simple and boring! But take my word for it, you will be wanting to eat this for breakfast, lunch and dinner...and if your like me, you will :) It's super fresh, amazingly tasty and when paired with a simple green salad you will wonder why you don't have frittatas more often!
